This assignment is for in-person English classes. Language Connections is looking for a creative, engaging, talented and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor for our corporate classes in  Latham, NY 12110 for part-time employment starting on July 20, 2022, for afternoon teaching assignments.

SCHEDULE: Wednesdays and Thursdays 2:30 – 4:30 

LOCATION: Latham, NY 12110

LEVEL: Beginner 1 and 2

Skills and requirements:

- Bachelor's degree;

- TEFL/TESOL Certificate;

- fluent English speaker;

- minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience;

- strong communication and organizational abilities;

- detail-oriented, creative, dynamic, patient, and positive;

- familiar with different language teaching methods and ESL textbooks;

- familiar with MS Word and MS Excel

- fluent Spanish speaker (preferred, but not required);

- experience living abroad and learning a second language is a plus

Main responsibilities:

- Teach ESL classes and monitor students’ progress;

- Submit regular progress reports in MS Word or MS Excel ;

- Prepare classes and implement lesson plans;

- Assign and correct homework and tests;

- Assist in the process of curriculum review and development
